Rules

If you plan to commission me, please familiarize yourself with the following rules:

  1. No refunds, all sales are final. If the commission is cancelled for whatever reason, a refund for whatever amount has been paid thus far will be provided only if absolutely necessary (this is just in case something goes wrong to prevent disputes, do NOT abuse this). But once the drawing is finished, final payment must be rendered, no exceptions.

  2. You must have the money ready to go, and you will pay the exact amount required in cash and only cash. Please note that I live in the U.S., so I am pricing based on USD.

  3. You will pay a percentage upfront and pay the rest of the price when the drawing is finished to a satisfactory level. The upfront payment will be 30% of the final price of the commission (example: If the Commission is $50, you will pay $15 up front and the other $35 when it's finished).

  4. Please respond in a timely manner during email correspondence and let me know ahead of time if you will be delayed in responding for whatever reason. You have a week without notice before I cancel the commission. I will let you know if something comes up on my end and when you can expect to hear from me again.

  5. Please be on your best behaviour as I will make a note of any poor or toxic behavior. Continuous poor or toxic behavior will result in you being blacklisted from commissions.

  6. DO NOT use the finished piece for AI training, AI editing, or NFT minting. While I will be somewhat lenient on AI, NFT minting will result in an immediate blacklisting.

  7. By commissioning me, you give me full rights to use the final piece as I see fit, be it for portfolios or displaying the piece publicly. I still retain partial ownership of the art in question as its creator. You have my permission to: Post the image to your accounts once I post it to mine, edit the image (not using AI) as long as the watermark remains intact, use the image as an avatar, and color the line art if provided (as long as the watermark stays intact).

  8. Private commissions must remain private unless we both agree to release the image publicly. Private commissions are also subject to looser standards as opposed to public commissions.

  9. Characters must be over 18 for mature art commissions.

  10. Where I post the finished art is at my discretion, and website rules must be taken into consideration when posting to a specific website if the commission is mature art.

What I will and won't draw

What I will draw:

  • Original characters

  • Other people’s characters (with permission)

  • Fan art

  • Male and Female characters

  • Mature Art, including:

  • Latex/Latex Encasement

  • Bondage

  • Quicksand

  • Mummification

  • Latex Drones

  • Hypnosis

Don't ask me to draw:

  • Overly complex designs (Bayformers, SDF-1 Macross, Mobile Suits, Mecha Godzilla/Kiryu, The Shield Helicarrier, Cyrillus & Orrgun (ULTRAMagic Alternate))

  • Overly complex scenes

  • Overly complex characters (Hoyoverse/Gacha characters, Dark Souls characters, Metal Gear Rising characters, etc)

  • Comics

  • Shipping

  • Yaoi/Yuri

  • Religious iconography

  • Politically charged characters

I'm not saying I can't or won't draw this stuff, it's just that I may not be fully comfortable with the idea or it may be out of my wheelhouse. On the other hand I am being paid, so I'm more lenient with these.

What I won't draw:

  • Explicit art

  • Explicit NSFW + details + anatomy

  • Sex

  • Sex toys (Gags and blindfolds are exempt)

  • Real People

  • Explicit gore

  • Extreme violence

  • Sexual violence

  • Revenge art

  • Fat fetish/morbidly obese characters

  • Racist/bigoted/prejudicial art

  • Political art/politically motivated art

  • Flags representing ideology or activism

  • Sensitive/politically-charged religious iconography/clothing

  • Anti-shipping

  • Blue lipstick and septum rings

Process and Etiquette

  1. Have your idea ready to go by the time you submit the upfront payment, I'm not psychic. Do not just say “draw my character doing whatever.” Please have a specific idea in mind for what you want the drawing to be. Good: “I want you to draw my character holding a sword up in a forest clearing.” Bad: There's my character and a sword… idk man, just have him doing whatever, I don’t care…”

  2. As you will see below, you will be filling out a Google form to tell me what you want out of the commission before we get to the idea and the final price. This is to keep things neat and organized. I will also be keeping track of the information in a private spread sheet only for me. Any information you share with me will remain private. And if you don't click links out of cyber security concerns... well firstly, how did you get here in the first place? Secondly, I need this as I don't feel like dealing with scam bots in DMs.

  3. Once we have the form taken care of, we'll move onto email and talk there. This is the easiest and most reliable way for me to discuss the commission with you. Obviously you'll need a valid, working email for this step. I ask that you don't share any emails of mine publicly, much like how I will be keeping your information private. Furthermore do not take the Google form link and share it around the web. Obviously people can access it here, but it is meant to be for here, not general use on the web. Also the Google form is using one of my alt accounts (obvious reasons), so don't worry when I email you and it's a different account.

  4. And once we have everything ironed out, you will pay the upfront fee, I'll get working on the art with WIPs provided to make sure I'm doing the idea justice, and then you will pay the rest of the commission price once the art is done. If there are any delays in paying let me know, but don't abuse this.

  5. Do NOT submit an AI generated image as a reference, even if you have edited the AI image. Either ask a friend to draw the character for you or I can design the character for a reasonable fee. The reason why I say don’t submit an AI image as a reference is because you did not draw that image, nor do you have an idea for what the character’s design is supposed to be. You submitted a concept to the chat bot and it guessed what you wanted based on preexisting ideas. I need your ideas, not the chatbots. Refusal to abide by this or not accepting my offer to help will result in the commission being canceled. Likewise I will not be using any form of AI to assist me.

  6. Don’t be afraid to speak up if I messed something up or you have a better idea for the drawing. Mind you, major changes such as the latter will require a small fee, but I will make the changes for free if it is the former.

  7. DO NOT PESTER ME UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. DO NOT PESTER ME ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT THE ART IS DONE. PESTERING ME RELENTLESSLY WILL RESULT IN THE COMMISSION BE CANCELLED, AN INVOLUNTARY REFUND, AND YOU BEING BLACKLISTED FROM FUTURE COMMISSIONS. Sorry, but I once had someone pester me for a request on DA which resulted in me blocking them. Funnily enough they were also a bad commissioner, setting up a commission but then failing to pay (with other people). I will keep you updated on my progress, but you will have to be patient while I get things done. I WILL inform you of any delays.

  8. I can work relatively fast, but I will provide WIPs if need be. I’ll most likely provide a WIP regardless, but just know that if I don’t that I feel pretty confident about the art. Speed depends on how complex the art is.

  9. The final price of the commission will be calculated before I start drawing and will require an upfront payment of 30% for the final price as stated previously, with the rest being paid when I finish the art.

  10. All WIPs will have watermarks on them and I ask that you don’t post them publicly. There’s nothing wrong with them, it’s just that they are WIPs.

  11. Failing to pay me the rest of the price owed will result in the art just not going up, and you will not receive the unwatermarked art. REMEMBER: I am providing a service and I fully expect you to pay me. The reason I expect 30% upfront is because this is an obligation. If you commission me and refuse to pay, I will be keeping the upfront fee as compensation. All I ask to have the art posted is the rest of the cost of the commission. While I will make a note of this for future commission, all will be forgiven once the commission is fully paid for.

  12. By commissioning me and making it this far, you have agreed to my terms and will accept them going forward. I look forward to working with you as long as the rules are obeyed and I am paid for my services.
